What is Solar Sebastopol?

Solar Sebastopol is the City of Sebastopol, California's pioneering effort to encourage Sebastopol residences and businesses to switch to solar energy by making this a simple, affordable, and compelling choice. In doing so, Sebastopol is demonstrating for other municipalities how to take their local energy future into their own hands.
CCEnergy helped started the Solar Sebastopol program for the City of Sebastopol in 2002. (Read the press release.) In 2004, a group of local solar vendors, city officials, and interested community members formed an advisory committee to manage the program.
